Take note on how Gilani's reaction to the NATO airstrikes juxtaposed the US military's reaction to a supposed mistake. Start to step away from the immense issue of instability within Pakistan, and start to really focus on the "building block" issues within the state by understanding the relationships between Pakistan and the west. It is a New York Times article about Russian frustration over vast aid sent to Chechnya. Start to think about the economic side of this situation, along with the humanitarian and domestic terrorist threats.
