Hi everyone! In two weeks from right now, we will be in committee debating one of the two topics! How crazy is that?! I hope y'all are as excited as I am!
Hi everyone! This blog post is focusing on infanticide, and since it is a complicated topic and somewhat difficult to research, there are two videos at the bottom that hopefully will help y'all out. The first is "What are the motives behind infanticide?" and it does a good job of looking into why infanticide occurs all throughout the world. This video will also help y'all think about ways we can prevent the causes to limit infanticide. The second video is "China probes dead baby scandal" which isn't as gruesome as the title makes it seem.
Hey everybody! I hope researching, writing, and life is going well! (If you're like me and your heart was just broken by the Patriots losing the Super Bowl, I'm sure life could be a lot better...) Children are an integral part of the family, and as the UN Programme on the Family, they will inevitably be discussed throughout committee. For that reason, here are two youtube videos highlighting children in Palestine, and the difficulties they face when it comes to education, mental stability, etc.
Hello UNPF delegates! Research is extremely important as you prepare for our conference in March. It took me a year of NHSMUN before I realized that debating is a lot more enjoyable and interesting when you know what you're talking about and can make good arguments! Here is an article that gives some interesting insight into infanticide in India, and how it may be modernizing.
Hi UNPF-ers! Hope your preparation is going well and you are getting excited for a wonderful NHSMUN Conference this March! Watch this interesting video describing the conflict in Israel and Palestine!
