Hello delegates,

I hope you have all been keeping up with the current hot topic that is IP Law enforcement. I'm sure you've heard about SOPA/PIPA, the controversial bills that were protested by many major internet outlets (Google, Wikipedia, and Craig's List, among 7000 others). Although the bills were turned down in the Senate, there's still much activity in the international community that parallels this scramble for IP law protection and enforcement.

The European Central Bank seems to have made a major shift in policy this past December when it lent large amounts of money unconditionally to several European Banks. These efforts were very similar to the American Federal Reserve's policy implementations in 2008 that have been roundly criticized by European economists and central bankers.
