Atlanta and Emory University are readily accessible by ground or air transportation. Schools arriving from within the southeast or metro Atlanta should try to arrange travel by bus directly to Emory. Schools flying in to Atlanta Harsfield-Jackson Airport will need to arrange ground transportation from the airport to Emory. The Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) will operate throughout the conference. MARTA will be very convenient for travelers from the Atlanta Airport, as this will reduce the need for a taxi or a shuttle reservation. From the Lindbergh MARTA station, travel to Emory by taxi or other modes of ground transportation is reasonable, as it is about 5 to 6 miles.
