World Refugee Day 2021
Today, June 20, is World Refugee Day: a day dedicated to spreading awareness of the more than 80 million people around the world who have been forced to flee their homes as a result of conflict or persecution. World Refugee Day is a time to celebrate, honor, and encourage communities around the world to embrace refugees, and the hardships faced around the world from COVID-19 make this even more crucial this year.
