Welcome to NHSMUN MX!

Come and Discover a New Type of MUN Conference
Join us for an immersive experience focused on Mexico’s unique role in international relations

Since 1975, IMUNA has been recognized for having the best Model UN conferences on the circuit, known for their diverse, talented attendees, their world-class staff, their highly engaging debates, and their academically rigorous material. Our largest conference is held in New York City, the heart of the UN System. For the first time ever, we’re excited to expand that experience in a conference created for Mexico and all of Latin America.

In light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, we will be hosting our inaugural conference virtually. Delegates will still enjoy the same exposure to UN and NGO leaders, diplomats from UN member states' embassies, and world-class MUN leaders, just like at our in-person conferences. With a virtual setting, students can participate in MUN from the comfort of their own homes or schools as the world is brought to them.

Many years ago, I, myself, was a Model UN delegate. In fact, my high school came to NHSMUN each year. To this day, I give credit to my faculty advisor, who has since become a dear friend, for getting me involved with Model UN, as it directly inspired me to pursue a career in foreign service.

Networking, negotiation, compromise…this is the stuff that makes the world go around. You might not realize it until years from now, but the skills you’re learning here…they might be more important than anything you’ll ever study in a classroom.
