UN Day 2017 Video Contest
Every year, the world celebrates UN Day on October 24, marking the anniversary of the date that the UN charter entered into force in 1945. It’s a day for people everywhere to reflect on the importance of the UN’s work globally and the impact it has on each individual community.
To celebrate this important occasion, NHSMUN is proud to launch its first annual UN Day video contest! Students who wish to enter should create a video of no more than 5 minutes to answer the following prompt: “How does the United Nations make an impact in your community?” We encourage delegates to think creatively about the many ways in which the UN helps to bring the world together. Highlight something that other members of your community might not know!
The winner of the contest will receive a special prize! NHSMUN will cover the cost of five delegate fees from the entrant’s school to attend NHSMUN 2018 (a $525 value)! Submissions are due October 15th, so act fast!
